BT Event Call features
Both Operator Assisted and Premium Services offer a complete range of easy-to-use audio
conferencing features that help ensure your most important conferences are as efficient, productive, and successful as
possible. Features include:
Scheduled Conference features
- *Audio streaming We will run recorded streaming audio of your
conference on your website for employees, customers, or prospects to access at their convenience.
- Communication link A Conference Coordinator can assist the
chairperson through a completely separate and discreet line, used to provide information about the call to the chairperson.
- Dial-out You can supply TI Audio Conferencing with the names and
telephone numbers of your participants, and our operator will contact and connect them to the conference.
- *Interpretation An interpreter can be brought online for all
or part of your conference.
- Lecture The chairperson may request all lines, except those of
the speaker(s), to be muted. This allows only the chairperson and/or a selected number of participants to present
information to the group without interruption.
- Mute If participants are calling in from an area with excessive
background noise (such as a car), individual lines can be muted by the participants or the operator.
- Participant list You can request the operator fax or email you a
list of participants who attended the call after the conference has ended.
- Playback You can supply our operator with pre-recorded tapes or
CDs that we will play at specified points during your conference.
- Q&A We can facilitate questions and answers from a prioritized
list of conference participants, enabling them to use their telephone keypad for this purpose.
- Recording We can record your conference and send it to you for
distribution in a variety of media, including audiocassette, CD, and email.
- *Reminder call We can call, fax, or email all participants in
advance of the conference to help ensure maximum attendance.
- *Replay Your conference can be digitally recorded and available
for telephone replay afterwards. This feature must be booked at least four hours prior to the start of the
conference, and the recording will be archived free of charge for one week.
- Restricted list We will check all conference participants against
a list provided by the chairperson before placing them into the call. This offers another level of security.
- Subconferences Allows the chairperson and selected participants to
conduct a private, secure pre- or post-conference to evaluate how to conduct an upcoming call or to re-group after a
conference is completed. If participants need to break off into smaller groups during the conference, you can provide
the names that should be placed in each group, and
the operator will inform them at the appropriate time.
- *Transcription We can provide you with a typed transcript of your
conference via regular mail, email, or fax.
- *Translation We can translate the typed transcription into another language.

- Voting/Polling Participants can vote on issues raised during the
conference using their telephone keypads. Questions must be submitted in advance. The results will be compiled
by TI Audio Conferencing and given to you after the conference is complete.
